Ranelle Gildersleeve is a recent graduate of Multnomah Seminary and is currently seeking a Chaplain internship. Meanwhile, she continues to work as a caregiver for the elderly and is eagerly awaiting her second year of volunteering at the Joni and Friends’ Twin Rocks Family Retreat.
Ranelle’s passion for the disabled stems from her own experiences of struggling with various learning disabilities. For the last seven years she has been continually working on reshaping her understanding of disability and the church. She is excited to see the change that is starting to grip the theological community as the church is forced to confront the disparities in ministering with those who are disabled. Ranelle continues to broaden her understanding and knowledge of this important subject that involves so many.
